You might or might not have known, I have since quit my day job to focus on something else in my life. I am currently a freelancer with an enrichment course centre teaching Secondary schools fashion design and styling as extra curriculum activities.

Ever wonder what to do to those peeling shoes (instead of throwing them out) caused be them being worn out or a night of crazy partying??

I have  a solution but you need to have a passion for glitter!

I have seen a couple of tutorials online and you can also substitute the glitter for rhinestones.

Here is my first attempt!

First what you need is:

1) White glue

2) Choice of glitter powder

3) Sponge brush applicator thingy

4) Plastic plate

Spread white glue evenly along the desired glitter-fied shoe

Then sprinkle the glitter to cover up the area.

Make sure to do 1 side first each time so that your glue won't dry up before u  sprinkle the glitter.

Press glitter in with finger and knock off any excess glitter.

Set it with hairspray/spraymout/sprayglue to set it and you are done!

Hi Girls,

I would like to dedicate this post to our dear and beloved Faezah Rosli http://cherry-n-rouge.onsugar.com/  .

I personally have met her about 5 years ago after she added me on facebook for our common interest in Macbeth shoes and our mutual friends. A very long chain of connections but she was my boyfriend's cousin's gf sister's best friend. Funny how we arranged to meet up just for Starbucks and to finally get to know each other. After that we bonded over NYLON mag and make-up products online and kept in contact ever since. We were suppose to meet for a couple of make up bloggers event but my previous job always gets in the way and we would have to reschedule again.

2 days ago i found out she has passed on. I found out from her best friend's sister that she collapsed suddenly in her room around 2am or earlier and her mom called for the ambulance. The paramedics tried to revive her but failed. It was a case of heart failure.

My deepest love and condolences goes to her family and her fiance. Extra love for her fiance Adib for I cannot imagine what he is going through right now after he has made the move to spend the rest of his life with her just earlier this month.

Please include her in your prayers.

For Allah loves her most.

So today, I dragged my gf all the way to Holland V to check out Lush at Summerloft. Unless it's for 3Monkeys Cafe for Kumar, we won't go there.

The shop smells super nice and they have almost everything there including the sets! But the prices were definitely not friendly.

However, everything is so nice and so nice smelling!

I got the famous Honey I Washed the Kids soap and Bubblegum Lip scrub which is so edible! Works well as well. I have been forcing everyone in my family to scrub their lips today! Wanted the HIWTK solid perfume but it smelled weird  I don't know.

So Katy Perry did a collab with OPI and I absolutely love them! I know this has been out for awhile but finally the manicure place that I always go to has these instock. I don't always do my nails myself, I just like buying colours lol! So my mom and  I got ourselves a mani yesterday and I had the 2nd option from the left done.

Featuring, Not Like the Movies with the black OPI Shatter.

I always leave my ring fingers different.

Not Like the Movies is like a silver with a purple and green duochrome, so major.

This was $12 for an express mani.

Also there is also a new type/ brand of polish they were showcasing there and its called Gelish.

I have always wanted Gel extensions/ overlay but they cost close to $100 and the process of maintanence is just a bit of a hassle. So what Gelish does is it works like your normal polish but you get the finish of a gel extension/ overlay, which is awesome.

So how it is done is your manicurist would do the usual of filing and shaping your nails then pushing back the cuticles.

Afterwards they apply a bond, set it, apply the Gelish colour, set it and seal it! This will last up to a month!

To remove it however, you have to either purchase a soak off solution or go back to your manicurist.

My manicure place does the express mani at $40 for this however I've seen another shop at far east plaza ( topmost level, i can't remember!)

doing it for $20 only!
